| We tied the semi-final 0 - 0, played two sudden death overtimes and remained tied. Went to PKs and remained tied at the end of 5 kicks. Two kicks later our keeper stopped their shot with a diving save. |

I'm proud of our team, our coaches and our parents. This team has come a long way since August. They worked hard in practice and learned to play together as a team. They stuck out close games and displayed sportsmanship in games with leads. I'd take this team any day and I'm proud to have coached them this season.
Hopefully the guys that are moving up to high school or U-16 are better prepared. The coaches were there when I needed them and were always ready to offer input and advise when a tough decision needed to be made. The parents were always supportive of us and got the kids to practice, games and the tournament. Several provided input and insight that was helpful. |
