Register for TJAY Soccer for Fall 2010
(TJAY=Thomas Johnson Area Youth)

We have two types of soccer registrations: In-House and County.  The In-House league (for children ages 4 to 6 on July 31,) is played entirely on our local field, with emphasis on development, sportsmanship and fun.  The County teams (for ages 6 to 18) play in the Frederick County Youth Soccer League (FCYSL), and compete at all levels with teams all over the County.

Registration Instructions

There are 3 ways to register for TJAY Soccer:

  1. Register on-line and pay on-line.
  2. Register on-line and then mail in your payment of check, cash, or money order.
  3. Download the registration form, print, and mail it with your payment (links to the In-House and County registration form PDFs appear below).

** Important** All three methods require that you download and complete a waiver form. These waivers should be turned in to your child's coach on the first day of practice or mailed in with your registration form and payment. Players will not be able to practice until this waiver is received. Click here if you need to download just the Waiver Form.

**Birth Certificates** Also, to ensure that players are playing in their correct age brackets, FCYSL requires that we keep a copy of your child's birth certificate on file. If you have not turned in a copy of your child's birth certificate in the past, you will need to send this in at the same time as your waiver.

**Uniforms** If you need a uniform, be sure to make a note of it on your registration form! (This only applies to County teams). Also, remember to indicate your size.

  • All participants in the County league must have an official TJAY uniform. If your child does not have a uniform to wear for the County league season, add $30 to the registration fee. If you need to order a uniform, please indicate the size on the enrollment form. TJAY soccer will not sell uniforms piece-meal. In-House Registration (Click here for form)

  • For children ages 4 to 6.
  • 4 on 4 with no goalie.
  • Teams practice and play on the same night, two times a week. NO WEEKEND COMMITMENT.
  • Child- and family-friendly environment with emphasis on basic soccer skills, fun, participation and sportsmanship.
  • Each child in the in-house league will receive a team shirt at no extra cost.

County Registration (Click here for form)

  • Children ages 6 to 18.
  • 7v7 small sides soccer or 11v11 depending on age group.
  • Play skilled teams from all over Fredrick county!
  • TJAY fields teams at all levels of competitive play.
  • The age designation for FCYSL depends on the age of your child as of July 31.  That is, for Fall 2008 or Spring 2009, if your child was 7 on July 31, 2008, he or she would be in U8 for that year.  If the child is 8 on that date, you would be registered with U10.
  • You must have a TJAY uniform to play in the County league.  If you need a uniform, add $30 and indicate the size on the registration form.
  • Multiple Child Discount: If you have more than one child registered the TJAY County teams, deduct $10 from each additional child's registration. This CAN be combined with the early registration discount for substantial savings.
